Aims & Outcomes

This confined space training course is nationally recognised and includes safe entry and working in confined spaces. It includes the planning and preparation for entry of confined spaces; including hazard identification and implementing controls as well as Work in Accordance with an Issued Permit. Training can also be carried out as refresher course for experienced participants.

Designed For

This course is recommended for participants who are required to work in confined spaces, for the energy, resource and construction industries.

Assessment

Participants must have the ability to read and write English and be able to perform practical and theoretical assessment as required.

There are no prerequisite units for this course.

  • Correct identification of a Confined Space as per AS 2865:2009

  • Use of fall protection / rescue equipment
